Nicky Minaj talks sexy heels and boots for V-day..Gives women advice
“For the men on Valentine’s Day
? Be traditional,” Nicki said in an interview. “Don’t get caught up in the hype of doing something crazy. Be traditional. Teddy bears, candy, lingerie, sexy heels, thigh-high boots — red! Don’t expect a gift [guys] — you’re not getting one. You don’t deserve one. You don’t need one. It’s all about the girls.”
“I have no dating life, I can only hope and wish and imagine and fantasize,” she said in an interview. “They demand too much. In life there’s always going to be one thing that takes precedence, and when you’re as hungry as I am you have tunnel vision. So I can’t really cater to a dude right now — I love them and I think they’re cute, but I can’t do what they want me to do for them right now. I’ve always wanted to go to Hawaii. I really want to go there and just lay on the beach. Then, also, I could have the other rap girls feed me fruit–since they don’t have anything to do right now! [Laughs.] Strawberries, grapes, watermelon, and pineapple. I so know that part is going to make the interview.”

This Nicki Minaj reign just won't let up! First her Pink Friday album goes platinum, then she opens up to her fans about her abusive childhood, now she's killin' 'em with a brand new video for her single "Moment 4 Life"! It has a Cinderella theme to it and lots of beauty shots. Guest appearances by Martha (her British alter-ego), Roman (her psycho personality, which was funny as hell), her cleavage (them bamas were damn near touching her chin!), and Drake (her love interest).
I have to be honest here. I think the reason why I really like this video is because it doesn't look cheap. If I see another flip cam directed video from a veteran I'm going to channel my own Roman Polanski ego in an Incredible Hulk fashion! Sheesh! Get your budgets up, artists!
Drake spoke to MTV about Nicki's video during its production. Here's what he had to say:
“I mean, it’s a fantasy video. So you’ve got a very regal environment, and you’ve got Nicki doing what she does — big outfits, big everything — and it’s a great video. The twist of it, or the concept of it, I don’t wanna give it all away.”On working with Nicki in her video:
“Yeah, I love that girl, man. I’m not gonna lie to you, I love her, so it’s easy. It’s not hard to play romantic.”

Nicki Minaj will be NBC's Saturday Night Live musical guest tomorrow night. Don't miss her do her damn thizzle! Hopefully the writers of the show can pen her a skit or two like they did for Cee-Lo the week before! Cee-Lo is crazy creative and all, but I'm sure Nicki Minaj could do something crazy for the show. She has the personalities for them!

Happy Birthday, Grown Simba! For all of you who don't know, today is J. Cole's birthday! The Germany born, Fayetteville, North Carolina native has been working hard touring the world with his light-skinned bredren Drake on his Away From Home tour in Europe. Although the tour has concluded, J. Cole's work in the tour has been very successful! Roc4Life wanted to wish our guy a happy birthday and congratulate him on his hard work! Being a black successful man in this world is as hard as it is already!

Nicki Minaj Celebrates Platinum Status w/ a Sexy Photoshoot
Upon hearing the news that her debut album has gone platinum, what better way fro Nicki Minaj to celebrate than with a sexy photo shoot that showed off her famous bottom perfectly?
And as pink is her favourite colour, it came as no surprise to see the rapper flaunt her booty in a hot pink corset with a tight matching jacket.
And she left even less to the imagination for the second photo in which she arches her back and toots for the camera in a black lacy body stocking.
The Trinidad and Tobago-born star released the photos upon hearing that Pink Friday had gone platinum in the US. The album was released in November last year and sold one million copies. It went platinum status on December 17th, just one month after it was released.
And on Wednesday, Nicki took to her Twitter page to declare:
‘Pink Friday remains the #2 Rap Album and the #4 Album in the country on Billboard’s 200. Thank you for your continued support.’
